School council
This is elected each term; one councillor from each age group. The head boy and girl are also elected by their classmates.
The council meets weekly and takes an active part in activities, such as school assemblies, charity fund-raising and suggesting ways to improve school life. One such initiative was the Buddy Bench – a good place to forge friendships! The council also helps to produce the school’s weekly newsletter.
Class monitors
Each child in the top class is assigned as a monitor to an infant class, for example, helping at break-time or getting them ready for gym.
