Orange Class had a lovely day at the zoo. Our topic this half term is The Jungle, so we were very excited about seeing the lions, tigers, toucans and parrots – and, strangely enough, the penguins! We also saw monkeys, gorillas, camels, giraffes and pygmy hippos.We had lovely weather so we could eat our lunch outside. We heard a story about all the animals who come to drink at the water hole and we got to stroke a ferret. Luckily we managed not to leave anybody behind, although Miss Reynolds can assure you there are already a few monkeys in the class!
