There’s something in the air at Unicorn School!

Summer Term has started off with laughter, energy and vibrancy across the school. There seems to be excitement in the air; is it the longer summer days, the upcoming royal wedding, or the joy of Unicorn in the summer? I am not sure, but it is a privilege to be part of the school at these times.

The swimming gala was a great success; thank you to so many of you for making time to come and support your children. There were some very exciting races, including several equal placings.

On Tuesday our Year 6 had the first of many exciting summer term events with a DT workshop led by Jeremy King. The day was a great success and they certainly now understand the importance of the ‘triangle’ to any building work; I am sure there are some pupils who may go on to have a career in this field. Next week our Year 6 have a trip to the Houses of Parliament and their Cycling Proficiency to look forward to.
