Most families start here, and it’s the one we recommend. Lucinda, our Registrar, shows you around herself at a time that suits you. It takes about thirty minutes — long enough to see every part of the school without losing your morning.

You’ll see ordinary lessons going on as you walk round, and you can ask whatever you like as you go.

Many families bring their child along. It’s equally fine to come on your own first and bring them another time.

Once a term we open the whole school for a morning. Allow up to ninety minutes.

You’ll meet Mrs Fraley, our Head. You’ll also meet current Unicorn parents, which is the part most visitors tell us they valued most — they’re happy to answer the questions only another parent can really answer. You’ll get a real sense of what an ordinary day here looks like, and you’ll almost certainly catch our youngest children doing something rather heartwarming.

• Kew Gardens station, on the District line and the London Overground, is a seven-minute walk — about a third of a mile.
• The 65 stops at Kew Road / Victoria Gate, two minutes from our door. It runs between Ealing Broadway and Kingston, so it picks up at Richmond station too.
• Coming on the 110? Get off at Kew Gardens station and walk. The 110 turns off Kew Road before it reaches us.
• From Richmond station it’s about a twenty-five minute walk, so most families take the 65 from outside the station instead.
• Driving? There’s on-street parking on the residential roads around the school and up by Kew Gardens station. Most of them sit in a controlled zone, so do check the sign on the road you park in — outside the hours shown it’s free. Ask us when you book if you’d rather be sure.
