Bushcraft Camp

Every year, the Juniors go on action-packed field trips. In the summer term, Year 3 spend two days and one night at the Bushcraft Camp at Penhurst Place, a stunning private estate boasting acres of woodland, seven miles of the Rivers Medway and Eden, and several lakes, making it a perfect location for a Bushcraft Camp.

Sayers Croft Field Centre

Year 4 spend three days and two nights at Sayers Croft, a beautiful and secure site with 56 acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds and fields, to explore through outdoor lessons and games.

Isle of Wight

Year 5 spend a week in the autumn term in the Isle of Wight, where they further their geographical study of the area, as well as take part in activities such as rock climbing, kayaking and beach combing.

Year 6 also enjoy a week in the summer term in Cumbria at Castle Head Field Centre, learning about the local countryside, its wildlife and the environment, with team-building skills and activities.

Ski trip Myrkdalen in Norway

Our ski trip, in alternate spring terms for Year 4 Class upwards, is one of the highlights of the school year. Resorts have included Myrkdalen in Norway, Passo Tonale and Folgarida in Italy and Les Deux Alpes and Risoul in France.
