Unicorn School 1970

Unicorn School has a heart-warming history that began in 1970 when a small group of local, pioneering parents and teachers set out to create a school that not only offered children a broad and rich education, but encouraged them to flourish creatively and to enjoy the process of learning.

Fast forward more than 50 years

and Unicorn has transformed from its humble origins in a village hall (with second-hand furniture reclaimed from the GLC furniture dump!) into a vibrant institution nestled in a large Victorian villa opposite Kew Gardens.

All classrooms enjoy abundant natural light, state-of-the-art equipment and are named after the colours of the rainbow.
