Welcome to Unicorn School, where the journey of curiosity begins!
Our Nursery is housed in a bright and airy converted coach house in the garden and welcomes children who have just turned 3 or the September after they have turned 3.
Our dedicated nursery staff create a warm and secure environment, fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based activities. We lay the foundation for a lifetime love of learning, where each child’s potential is celebrated and the magic of discovery unfolds every day.
Our Reception class is also housed in the bright and airy converted coach house.
Teachers and early years practitioners guide children through a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities designed to build foundational skills in reading, writing, and numeracy. Daily routines might include story time, phonics sessions, singing, and free play, all aimed at fostering independence, confidence, and curiosity.
Reception class also places emphasis on developing good behaviour, positive relationships, and the ability to follow routines and instructions, preparing children for the more formal learning of Year 1 and beyond.
